How do we live a godly life? What does it mean to take up our cross and follow Jesus? Throughout 2 Timothy, Paul draws a picture of a disciple’s walk, but before we jump into the details, he greets Timothy. These two verses encapsulate the reality of believers: who we are in Christ, our future hope, and the love that fills us and flows out of us.
